Zhusuan Methodology (Abacus)

 This methodology was originated in Greek, later on developed in China, now a days very popular in India and abroad, which makes children to learn math with fun. It makes children capable to calculate mentally five times faster than an electronic calculator. Apparatus free arithmetic is possible through this technique. Primarily children uses the calculating tool known as Abacus (World’s first calculating device) than after sometime they start working with an imaginary Abacus.

Abacus is a simple tool or a hardware used for performing rapid arithmetic calculations. Calculations based on abacus was invented at ancient times and now widely used a brain development programme. It consists of a rectangular frame holding a number of vertically arranged rods, on which beads slides up and down.

• Children do fast calculations in mind by visualizing Abacus bead movements.
• Researches proves that Abacus learners uses both sides of the brain- left hemisphere & right hemisphere.

Mental Arithmetic

• ‘Mental Arithmetic’ is a term used in Abacus for the calculations done in mind.
• Even large numbers can be calculated in mind, that too within seconds
• ‘Mental arithmetic’ improves student’s imagination skills
• Effective in cracking competitive time based tests.
• Mind calculation enhances the concentration level of child.

Abacus का हिंदी में क्या मतलब (अर्थ) होता है (Abacus Meaning in Hindi) या अबेकस क्या होता है| आज कल Calculator का तो सभी करते है तो आपको बताना चाहते है की abacus भी एक तरह का कैलकुलेटर है ! अबेकस का अर्थ है “गिनती करने या गणना करने का यंत्र” यह पुराने ज़माने में गणना करने के लिए उपयोग में लिया जाता था ! इससे मुश्किल सवाल भी सरलता से हाल कर दिए जाते थे जैसे आप Calculator से करते है तो अब आप जान गए होंगे की Abacus क्या होता है|

कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं के जरिये आप बड़ी आसानी से इसे समझ सकते है जो है –

• अबेकस एक ऐसा शब्द है जो ग्रीक शब्द “अबेक्स” से आया है जिसका मतलब होता है “ गणक बोर्ड” |
• यह एक ऐसा यंत्र है जिसका इस्तेमाल जोड़ , घटाव , गुना और भाग से लेकर कुछ जटिल गणित की समस्याओं को सुलझाने में भी किया जा सकता है |
• इसे दुनिया के पहले कंप्यूटर या कंप्यूटर की प्रेरणा के स्त्रोत के रूप में भी जाना जाता है |
• इसे आज भी बहुत से एशियाई देशो में व्यापक रूप से इस्तेमाल किया जाता है |

महत्वपूर्ण इस्तेमाल – इसका इस्तेमाल “ मेंटल मैथ “ को विकसित करने में किया जाता है और वो यह है कि  शरू में अबेकस के इस्तेमाल को करते हुए अबेकस के ब्लॉक्स सीखने वाले के दिमाग में याद हो जाते है और फिर वह Abacus के तकनीक का इस्तेमाल दिमाग में ही करते हुए गणित की समस्याओं को आसानी से हल कर सकते à¤¹à¥ˆ |
